Daily Update - 17th June

Just a short update for you tonight. Tomorrow we'll send out details about Phase 3 of our wider reopening and a questionnaire to those who are not back at school yet.

Keep an eye on our YouTube channel for the next chapters from Mrs Metcalfe and Mrs Dineen!

Duchess of Cambridge

Tomorrow, the Duchess of Cambridge will lead an online assembly for the Oak National Academy during which she will speak about the importance of mental wellbeing among children. The theme of the Duchess’ assembly is ‘spread a little kindness’ and was developed in collaboration with children’s mental health charity Place2Be which encourages children to explore ways in which they can show kindness and recognise the benefits of kindness to others.

You can access it live at 11am tomorrow and a recording will also be available afterwards on the site.

STEM Clubs Week

STEM Learning is an organisation that promotes science and maths for children and young people. Next week is their STEM Clubs Week 2020 and they have lots of resources, videos and ideas here, including a competition to design a city!

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.”

Anatole France (French poet)
