We took 25 children to the City Athletics Championships this year, to compete against the best athletes from14 primary schools in Southampton. Boys and girls from years 3-6 had to compete in a number of events which included; throwing, jumping and running. Children had to compete in qualifying rounds and then in finals if successful. Everyone gave their very best on the day and we had a high number of children make it in to finals. Overall, the school finished 5th, just 10 points shy of 3rd place. Fantastic day with excellent ability and talent on show.
