Daily Update - 3rd June

A slight change in the weather today, but maybe a bit of a relief to have some rain and coolness. Mrs Dineen's bears were lovely on the video this morning! Unfortunately we are running short of new stories at the moment, so tomorrow's featured story is one we had a few months back. It's lovely to hear favourite stories again anyway!

As June is the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, here is a site with an idea of a lovely activity you can do daily to help children understand about Jesus' abounding love.for us:

Are you into poetry?

This could be the site for you! It's full of children's poetry read out loud and you can search by theme, age, poet etc.

Daily Newsletter

This was launched in March by a team of journalists and they produce a newsletter every day aimed at young people with news of the day, topics to debate and other resources. You have to sign up and they will then email it to you every morning:

Science and Engineering

STEM Learning produce weekly activities based around science and engineering that you can do from home. This is their website and we've attached this week's challenges for you:

Thrive

Mrs Mullin has attached this week's activities for you.

"Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory."
