End of Year Message

As we come to the end of another school year, I want to thank all the staff who have worked tirelessly in very difficult and unusual conditions to ensure the children’s education continued. It has not been easy and they have had to learn so many new skills, but everyone worked together as a team to support each other and the keep the school going.

We have several farewells and thank yous to say: Mrs Anderson, Miss Watkins, Mr Alonso, Miss French-Bell and Mrs Pabis; we wish them all the best for whatever they plan in the future and thank them for the dedicated service they have given to St Patrick’s over the years.

To our wonderful Year 6 children who made us all proud with their achievements (what a fantastic Aladdin production they put on earlier in the week!) and who we have loved watching grow and progress in the 7 years they have been with us. I am sure they will take with them the PATRICK attitudes wherever life takes them next and we look forward to hearing about their future successes.

To all the other children in the school, who persevered with such enthusiasm to reach their goals and who show such great enjoyment at school every day.

Finally a huge thank you to all you parents who have supported us through this most trying of school years as we tried to get to grips with social distancing, staggered timings, remote teaching etc. You have been patient, supportive and understanding as we worked our way through what was thrown at us.

On behalf of the staff and governors, I wish you a restful and enjoyable summer break and we look forward to seeing you all again on 6th September.

Best wishes,

Michael Lobo
