Update - 6th January

Well we've had a very techy sort of day today trying to get everyone sorted with laptops, SeeSaw and Teams! As usual, there were a fair few teething problems, not helped by the Microsoft Teams Admin console going down overnight, but I think most children have managed to get connected. If you're still having difficulties, let us know.

We managed our first virtual liturgy using the Teams Live Events today and hopefully many of you managed to join us. Our little group of Foundation children played the Three Kings and their pages beautifully! From next week, Fr Ross will lead a weekly liturgy for us based on the Sunday Gospel.

Next Thursday 14th January, we had planned to have an Inset Day so that the staff could have training on Talk for Writing. The trainers are now unable to deliver the training, so we will cancel the inset day and school will be continue as "normal".

Finally, Southampton City Council have published an update on the lockdown situation which you can find here:

Best wishes,

Michael Lobo
