Daily Update - 18th May

Thank you to everyone who completed the return to school questionnaire - we are currently processing all the responses and deciding on the best way forward for our school. More information soon. If you didn't respond and want to let us know, you can still email us.

Wasn't Mrs Paul's story wonderful today? She edited it so professionally, I'm sure you will want to watch it again and again. Tomorrow Mrs Dineen is back with another inspiring poem to get your creative juices flowing.

Did you know that today would have been Pope John Paul II's 100th birthday? He was one of our most loved and long-lived Popes, who was a true believer in Catholic Social Teaching and Social Justice. Incidentally he was a very skillful goalkeeper in his youth and a life-long supporter of Cracovia Cracow! Today's quote is from him.

Calling all creative writers

National Book Tokens are running a story-writing competition a grand prize of £200 for each age category! You need to write a short story on the theme of Big Dreams - more details here. Mrs Conway would love you to have a go!

Hampshire School Games May Challenge

Sorry we're a bit late with this one, but as the Games had to be cancelled this year, there is a daily challenge you can do at home and you can send in your videos for weekly competitions. We've attached this week's challenge and there are more details here:

Kids Cook with Theo

This is a great site aimed at getting children cooking. Theo is a chef who does a live cook-a-long with his own children every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4pm. This week it's tuna and pasta bake on Wednesday and apple pie on Friday! Send us some photos if you do try it out.

Bears Activity Cave

This is a nice site aimed at younger children with some adventures and activities to try. It's based on the natural snack Bears.

Safe4Me

Hampshire Constabulary have a an excellent website with lots of resources designed to keep you and your families safe over this period:

"As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live."
