Daily Update - 19th June

You may have heard on the news a little earlier the welcome announcement that all children will be able to return to school in September. I think it comes as somewhat of a relief that we can finally start to plan for normal school life, even though they may be some differences and further precautions that we will have to take. We will await the government's promised guidance over the next 2 weeks. In the meantime, we can now start to plan next term with some certainty and we will therefore send you out next week details of classes and teachers for next year and information on how transition activities will happen.

For those of you who have requested places in Phase 3 of our wider opening, we will be in contact early next week with details of what we can offer you and for those who are remaining at home, we will also be in contact about enhanced home learning opportunities.

This Sunday we return to what is known as Ordinary Time (in fact this is because we number the Sundays in an "ordinal" way, nothing to do with it being ordinary!) and this week Jesus tells us not to be afraid to live out our Christian mission and to proclaim the good news from the rooftops. Attached are some activities from Immaculate Conception Parish that you can use at home with your family.

Have a lovely weekend.

"Come to me all you who are heavily burdened and I will give you rest"

Matthew 11:28

Best wishes,
