Mrs Dineen got us the week off to a great start with her story about The Crocodile who didn't like Water - remember she is also reading a chapter a day of The Extincts on this link:
Tomorrow Mrs Thomas reads us a story from another part of the world, which exemplifies some of our Patrick attitudes.
Don't forget to complete your Parentmail form about Phase 2 school opening by 9am tomorrow: we will then analyse the numbers for each year group and let you know the plan and timings for w/c 15th June.
Contacting School
As the school office is closed and operating remotely, we have a new mobile number for you to call if you wish to speak to someone in the office: 07340 075421. The landline number is still in operation, but as we have fewer staff in school for the moment, please use this mobile number where you can.
Accelerated Reader (AR) Online Access
Mrs Conway has attached an updated guide on accessing AR online for reading books and taking quizzing - some of the web browsers had been defaulting to the US settings and this should be fixed now.
Children's Astronomy
If you're at home and looking for a scientific activity this week, the Cambridge Institute of Astronomy have another free astronomy session for you! On Tuesday 9th June, 3pm, Dr Nicole Pawellek will present an interactive children's talk all about finding asteroids around other stars:
Natural History Museum
The museum has 13 virtual tours for you, including a history of Hope, the blue whale, who is on display in the main hall:
Thrive
Mrs Mullin has attached this week's Thrive activities for you.
