Daily Update - 1st June

Updated: Jun 2, 2020

We hope you had a lovely half-term and enjoyed the hottest May on record! 1st June marks the traditional start of summer and is also the month where we celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus - the mystery of the person who was both God and man.

Tomorrow we look forward to welcoming back over 60 of our children in Phase 1 of our wider opening. We are confident that all the measures we have put in place will minimise the risk of contracting the virus as much as is possible and should everything go smoothly this week, we will let you know which year groups we will be offering places to for Phase 2. A big thank you to all the staff who have worked so hard to get the school ready. Now that we have a lot more staff working in school, please be aware that there may be different staff supervising the online learning for your child.

Mrs Ames' story of "The Dinky Donkey" was great fun today and tomorrow we have Mrs Paul again with another of her special effects videos!

Fr Ross has been so busy in the parish (and the church garden) that he's had no time to write the newsletter this week - instead, Lucky the cat has done it for him! We've attached it for you here along with Week 10 of the Hampshire School Games!
