Walking the Clarendon Way

On Saturday 5th October a group of St Patrick's School staff will be attempting to walk the Clarendon Way - a 27.5 mile walk between Salisbury Cathedral and Winchester Cathedral.

Myself, Mrs Lindfield, Mrs Cherry, Mrs Hoiles, Mrs Holtham, Miss McNabb, Mrs Robbins, Miss Waters, Mrs Whitren, Mr Balaam, and Mrs Spooner have been training all throughout the Summer holidays and are ready to go!

The walk is broken up into 4 stages:

1. Salisbury Cathedral to Broughton (11 miles)

2. Broughton to King's Somborne (4 miles)

3. King's Somborne to Oliver's Battery (5.5 miles)

4. Oliver's Battery to Winchester Cathedral (7 miles)

A total of 27.5 miles! We will be walking all day - hopefully the rain will stay away!

All of the money raised will be used to make the playground a safe and exciting environment for the children.

I will keep you updated on our progress, wish us luck!

Mrs Adams
